Coke Zero - "Magnificent Monday"
The Super Bowl campaign that started as an intern pitch and became a movement.
The Monday after the Super Bowl is, statistically, the most painful workday of the year. We thought Coke Zero - a brand built on the idea that you shouldn't have to give up great taste for low calories - was the perfect brand to do something about it.
I developed the campaign as an intern at CP+B and sold it through to the client. The budget eventually reshaped the idea from a Super Bowl ad into a Super Bowl-adjacent initiative encouraging Americans to petition for a national day off.
It ran. People actually petitioned. And yes, we did it before a certain condiment brand had the same idea.
